Remember to drink water and stretch!

I have had a few people lately asking me about muscle cramps. With the warm weather starting, you may find yourself outside and being more active. Remember to stretch before and after activities, the stretches you should do vary on the activity you plan on doing, if anyone needs suggestions on what stretches you should do for a specific activity feel free to ask in the comments section and I will do my best to answer them. Drink plenty of water the rule I stand by for water consumption is taking half of your weight and that is the number of ounces you should drink a day, for example if you weigh 120 pounds you should be drinking 60 ounces of water a day. I know that seems like a lot but it goes a long way to helping prevent muscle cramps. Another thing that helps with muscle cramps is potassium, a great source of potassium are bananas so eat a banana before being active.
